EQWin^® Desktop Edition has the same requirements as any typical standalone Microsoft Windows application.

Software

• Microsoft Windows XP or later. Compatible with Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7
• All operating system updates (as obtained by Windows Update) must be installed
• Microsoft Office Excel XP or later

Hardware

• Typical desktop or portable PC
• 2GB RAM recommended
• 2MHz or faster processor recommended

Optional

You do not need Microsoft Office Access in order to install and use EQWin because Windows itself provides the necessary database support. However if you are an Access user with Access 2003 or later installed, you can use Access to gain even greater utilization of EQWin databases.
